HomeFront™ was designed with the needs of residential builders in mind. Designed to assist in managing the front-end sales operations, HomeFront‘ provides builders with the ability to maintain an electronic price book of Models and Options broken down by Community, Model and Series.

Track each customer along with their contract and change order details. With information stored in a central database, all individuals* within the organization can access the same information, eliminating lost paperwork and the need to re-input the same information into other systems. HomeFront™ is ODBC compliant, making your data available in Microsoft® Office products, Crystal Reports®, and Sage Timberline Office® Software’s Accounting programs.

*Remote access to show home sales people requires Microsoft“ Terminal Services which is available as an add-on to Windows 2000 Server®.

Contract Documentation

Generate contract documentation utilizing Microsoft Word Templates, minimize typing errors, and identify all options selected by the buyer as an addendum to the contract prior to contract signing. Sales information for base home, lot and options are sent to Sage Timberline® Office Job Costing for internal tracking and reporting.

Change Orders

  • Track change orders for options selected after contract signing.
  • Update sales information and contract totals in Job Cost automatically upon change order approval.
  • Restrict option selection based on stage of construction.
  • Custom Option requests can be emailed directly to estimating for quotation.

Process Commissions

  • You have full control on how and when commissions are to be paid. Whether it’s a lump sum at closing or staged throughout the building process, information can then be generated to either Sage Timberline Office Payroll or Accounts Payable

Model and Options

Organize your Options by Community and Model.

  • List standard and upgrade options for each model
  • Track design centre options for each area of the home. Identify customer color selections for each option.
  • Set the cut off status for each option so you don’t get caught in a change when it’s too late to implement it.
  • Import Option pricing from BuilderMT® SIM application (Sales Interface Module)

Lot Inventory

  • Identify lots by community; Land developer, Job number etc.
    Lots are automatically removed from inventory when assigned to a customer.
  • Track installment due dates and amounts. Post installment amounts payable to the land developer directly to Sage Timberline“ Office Accounts payable.
  • Track Lot status by identifying lots in Inventory, Sold, Pending Sale, On Hold, Traded etc. Or create your own status codes for reporting in addition to the system defaults

 

Add New or Modify existing reports utilizing Crystal Reports®.

Automate internal paperwork processes and end duplicate entry. Customer information, Accounts Payable, and Job Cost updates are done at every stage of the construction process, providing you with accurate and timely information.
